Using Postgresql

That was easy.
On Windows 2012 Server, On BP 11.9.5 I did the following.

In Postgresql
Created a database named: BotPressDb
Set permissions for the database. << Don’t forget.
. . . . then
In the folder where BP.EXE lives …
Create a file named env.env
Added This to the file:
DATABASE=postgres
DATABASE_URL=postgres://postgres:MySecretPassword@127.0.0.1/BotPressDb

save.

Open DOS window go to the folder and do this.

ren env.env .env

Start BP.EXE.

WORKS !

What do you mean by above statement?

REN is a Windows command to rename a file.
I create the file as env.env
Then I rename it to just .env

Windows Explorer will not create a file unless the file has a file name.
